Sparkling Shrub Cider
INGREDIENTS:
1 oz. Tait Farm Shrub (we recommend Spiced Apple but Ginger and Spiced Vanilla Pear are also lovely)
4 oz. sparkling water
4 oz. apple cider
Ice (optional)
Apple slice or herb garnish
In the glass of your choice, add apple shrub, and cider. Fill with ice, top with sparkling water, and stir. Garnish with apple slices.
Optional Cinnamon Sugar Rim
You will need an empty glass, as this is impossible to do once you’ve added ice or your drink to the glass.
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
honey, maple syrup or simple syrup
Add sugar and cinnamon to a small bowl. Stir together until they are evenly distributed.
To coat the rim of a glass in cinnamon sugar, first pour some cinnamon sugar onto a plate. A couple of tablespoons should do.
Use your finger or a brush to paint on honey, maple syrup or simple syrup around the outer edge of the glass. Try to smooth out any globs or runs.
Roll the edge of the glass in your homemade cinnamon sugar. Then proceed with the drink prep instructions above.
