SHRUB MINT JULEP

INGREDIENTS:

6 fresh mint leaves

2 oz. Tait Farm Shrub (Ginger Shrub will best match the classic but other seasonal flavors are absolutely delicious!)

1 teaspoon simple syrup or a pinch of sugar

2 oz. Bourbon

2 oz. sparkling water

Crushed ice & mint leaf garnish

Gently muddle mint, Shrub and a teaspoon of simple syrup (or sugar) in the bottom of a julep cup.

Fill glass or Julep cup with crushed ice. Crushed ice is essential in this classic. Add bourbon. Stir.

Add more crushed ice or a splash of sparkling water, as desired. Garnish with mint and fresh fruit, as desired.
