Hot Spiced Apple Rum Toddy
Bursting with the flavors of fall, this will become your new favorite drink for warming up by the fireside.
1 oz. Spiced Apple Shrub
1 1/2 oz. Dark Rum
6 oz. hot water
½ tsp. honey
a squeeze of orange
a dash of orange bitters (optional)
To garnish: Use a slice of apple, orange and/or cinnamon stick
In a heatproof glass or mug, measure Spiced Apple Shrub, dark rum and honey. Add hot water and stir. Add a squeeze of orange and orange bitters (if using) and stir. Garnish and serve.
