Sweet Tartines
The simple French definition of tartine is a slice of bread with a sweet or savory topping. Possibilities are endless. Each one starts with a slice of rustic bread. French baguette, sourdough, or other rustic bread work well, grilled with a little olive oil in a pan until golden brown.
Then, spread the toast with soft cheese. Top with a generous layer of the Tait Farm fruit spread of your choice. Sprinkle with nuts or seeds, if desired.
