Puff Pastry Mini Tarts

These simple yet spectacular entertaining bites are warm, flaky, savory and just the right touch of sweet, sure to wow your guests.

INGREDIENTS:

Frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
Tait Farm Chutney
Cheese, cut into small cubes (Brie, Cheddar, Havarti)

Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray or grease mini muffin tin(s). Unfold the pastry on a floured surface. Roll gently (with a rolling pin) to even out the creases. Cut the pastry into squares and tuck into the muffin tin. The four corners should extend above the tin. (If the pastry becomes too sticky and elastic, put it back in the refrigerator for 20 min.)
Place a dollop of chutney in the bottom of each muffin insert and top with a cube of cheese. Do not over fill.

Bake for 15-22 min. or until puffed and golden brown. Check at 12 min. Remove from the tin while still warm. Top with a little more chutney if desired.

Brie and Havarti cheeses go with everything. Cheddar is particularly nice with Apple Chutney.
