Thumbprint Cookies are a timeless tradition. Our cookie mix makes whipping up a batch something that happens in no time at all! The name “thumbprint” comes from the indentation made into each ball of shortbread-like dough. Once the indentation is made with a thumbprint or more likely a spoon, fill it with your favorite Tait Farm Foods jam, preserve, or conserve. Making this cookie is a fun family activity allowing kids to pick their own filling. For best results, chill the dough before baking.
Additional ingredients needed to make our Thumbprint Cookies: 1 C (2 sticks) softened butter, one large egg, 1 tsp of extract (vanilla, almond, or lemon - you choose)
