1 C. water

Tait Farm Smoked Apple Grill Sauce

Rub pork shoulder all over with salt and pepper or your favorite ‘rub’.

Place meat in a slow cooker. Pour the water overtop and cover with lid. Cook for 7 - 8 hours on high or 10 - 12 hours on low or until the meat is very tender and shreds easily with a fork.

Take the meat from the pot and place onto a tray. Using two forks pull the meat apart into shreds. Return shredded meat to the pot and pour 1 cup of the Smoked Apple Grill Sauce over the meat. Stir to combine meat, sauce and reserved juices together. Keep warm until ready to serve. Serve on buns with additional sauce on the side.
